Populism doesn't work in Britain. Conservatism does. Moreover, National Conservatism is the right answer. Populism offers nothing but empty slogans and false hope, white conservatism is innate to the British psyche. It's who we are. There is no point trying to reinvent the wheel. We are all agreed that "one nation" wet Toryism is not conservatism. We are not social democrats. We are not liberal internationalists. We believe in the nation state, the rule of law, free enterprise, individual liberty, and the family as the basis of thriving community.But specifically, we are not free market liberals nor free trade fanatics either. National conservatism recognises the necessity to defend Britain's strategic industrial interests, and that a diverse economy, able to arm and feed itself, is paramount to Britain's resilience and national defence. &nbsp;As such, we reject the hyper-liberal ideas of the ERG, IEA and ASI. The conservatism of today must be relevant to our times. It cannot and must not be reheated Thatcherism. Thatcher was the antidote to past-war socialism. Modern conservatism must address itself to correcting the evils of neoliberalism - the dispersal of power to post-democratic constructs, open borders, and deindustrialisation - recognising that post-Brexit, post-globalisation Britain exists in a multipolar world that can no longer rely on the US defence umbrella, nor can it continue to open its borders to trade with its enemies.The conservatism of today must recognise the growing threats to national democracy from within. Specifically, the lawfare of globalist ideologues and the rise of political Islam, which is colonising urban politics. As a conservative we reject racial bigotry, but are sworn to defend Britain as a culturally Christian homeland, for that is the only foundation for Britain's continued existence as a functioning society where all are equal under the law. We reject the dogmas of multiculturalism and cultural relativism.This is the basis upon which the next iteration of conservatism must build. I have no preference for what happens at the coming election. The Tory party will rightly be punished for its betrayal of conservatism, but it won't be wiped out. It will continue to exist as the primary opposition, as an institution of our dysfunctional duopoly. We may wish it were some other way, but we have to deal with the world as we find it and use the tools at our disposal.&nbsp;The scale of the task is awesome, but it can and will be done, because it can be no other way. The tide is going out on the globalists and neoliberals. This is their final chapter. We must be ready with ideas for the time when their regime falls. The work to ensure the primacy of those ideas begins now.

What the voters want...

Not only is the corpse of the Conservative Party still warm and twitching, the death certificate has yet to be signed, but the rush to redesign its replacement is well under way.&nbsp; Is there any possibility that the parrot is merely resting, and not properly de-perched and dead? In five weeks time, the Conservative Party will no longer be the party of government. That leaves conservatives with a very big mountain to climb - and it’s not going to be easy.The first obstacle will be the Conservative Party itself. A party that no longer has a functioning definition of conservatism. A party whose most influential figures will fight tooth and nail to prevent it from becoming a conservative party. The people who believe the Tories are losing because they’re too right wing.&nbsp;Retaking the party is not going to be easy, and there’s going to be considerable competition. Even in its badly degraded state, the Tory brand is still valuable political property. From what I gather, Sunak has been busy stuffing key posts with wets from the Tory aristocracy, and they’re absolutely anticipating an entryist takeover attempt.My feeling is that the right of the parliamentary party will be the minority faction after the election, and is likely to favour Penny Mordaunt or one of the other “wets” as leader. Some believe this will be catastrophic for the cause. I don’t think so. I don’t think it matters in the interim. The Tory party will be defined by what it has to oppose from the Labour government, and even the wettest Tory will understand there is no path back to power without acknowledging the demand for dramatically lower immigration.&nbsp;<h3>Moreover, we are stepping into a new political zeitgeist. That “multipolar world” beckons and the delusions of pre-2016 era liberal internationalists will not withstand first contact with reality. External influences are more likely to shape the tone of British politics, and the Tory party in particular. There is backlash coming over Net Zero for starters, and mad Ed Miliband’s green energy plans will hit the rocks in no time at all. Furthermore, there is still no popular enthusiasm for the EV transition. This is all low hanging fruit for any opposition.&nbsp;</h3>We also have an asset in the struggle to revive conservative social values. The Labour Party. The party is not coming to power because there is any real enthusiasm for left wing ideas. It is set to inherit power because Tory voters are going to stay at home. There has been no swing to the left and Starmer’s approval ratings (which aren’t riding high to begin with) will soon plummet. His own party will be a fractious coalition of woksters and race-agitators, who will do a great deal to revive social conservatism in the voting public.&nbsp;As much as anything, the market has spoken. The penny has dropped for the business world that going woke means going broke, and they’re getting the message that the public doesn’t like having political messages rammed down their throats. The tide has turned. The last people to catch on, of course, will be woke Labour politicians, who will end up looking like <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroo_Onoda" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-mce-href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiroo_Onoda">Hiroo Onoda</a>The point here, is that a Tory loss enables a recalibration of politics as a whole, where Labour will find that doubling down on the policies of the status quo does not revive the nation’s fortunes. It then gives the Tory party permission to break from its present day dogmas. As such, the party will be fertile ground for a conservative takeover.Supposing Labour wins by a large majority, my feeling is that any new Tory leader will have a Herculean task to overturn it, and will fail. It’s actually better for us if the liberal wets lose in 2029, because that precipitates a fresh leadership contest. We have five years to popularise real conservatism, and five further years to make it electable.To that end, we have work to do. Entryism alone is not going to work, and deselecting Tory wets may prove difficult with the institutional backing they have. But all the same, they are still answerable and can be influenced if the local membership is all singing from the same hymn sheet. That’s where we have to put in the work.&nbsp;As I’ve mentioned a lot lately, all the alternative parties exist because there is no genuine conservative party. It’s displacement activity. Frustrated activists have been led up the garden path by populists who simply aren’t going to achieve anything. Much the same can be said about street level protests. What we need to do is build a conservative activist network.I recently joined an organisation called New Culture Forum. I’m meeting with them and others in a couple of weeks, and I’m having further discussions around the fringes. My message to them is that the right has a definition problem, and must seek to create the intellectual foundation for the new conservative movement. I believe National Conservatism is the basis for this.Though everyone is agreed that the liberal wing of the Tory party must be dumped, we’re just as likely to hit the rocks if all we have to stand on is reheated Thatcherism melded with intellectually barren MAGA populism. Free market radicalism is not conservatism. Thatcher was a timely antidote to the sclerosis of post-war socialism, but the modern predicament demands fresh thinking.&nbsp;As such, I’m talking about “modernisation”. That’s a pretty loaded word when it comes to conservative politics because it’s usually the weasel word of liberals who intend to ditch conservatism. But we do need a modern conservatism that speaks to nationalism, strategic protectionism and self-reliance, renewed social conservatism, and one that addresses the spiritual crisis of the modern age. One that puts national sovereignty and the sovereignty of the people first.That, though, is a topic of a much longer essay in the near future, along the lines of “What does modern conservatism look like?”. One thing’s for sure, Cameron’s “scribble tree” logo, and everything it embodies, has got to go. But returning to the point, this is about popularising a renewed conservative message. So how do we do that?Though I will always prefer the written word (because a thousand well crafted words says far more than an hour of podcasting in a fraction of the time), there is massive demand for high quality online video content. This is how people like to engage. Politics, like it or not, is a form of entertainment. YouTube lectures and debates are popular content. New Culture Forum is good at this. We need to see more of that.&nbsp;But politics is also a social pursuit. There is no movement without real human interaction. But there is also no national movement if the bulk of the social activity is in London. If we’re going relight the fires of conservatism throughout the land, then conservatism has to hit the road. We need high profile events in Huddersfield, Hull, Liverpool and Middlesbrough. We have to go where we are not traditionally wanted and remind people that true conservatism is innate to the national psyche. Lecture halls of the former polytechnics are where the new movement comes to life.&nbsp;People keep talking about setting up a new party, but in truth, that’s the last thing we need. We already have a morass of competing organisations, each of them lacking a coherent intellectual framework. We should not waste our energies advancing one over the other. We simply need to elevate the winning ideas and let them find their own path to power through critical mass. As such, we need to build the flanking organisations that will give entryists the contacts, ideas and motivation to take us back to power.&nbsp;Ultimately, the new conservatism will find its own way into the party by being the obvious remedy, providing answers where populism doesn’t. It’s all the things that could and should have been done with an eighty seat conservative majority. Banks have used credit reference agencies - notably Experian - for a long time now. Experian hoovers up every reference to businesses and individuals to create a credit scores and you have to pay to see your own stats.&nbsp; &nbsp; Cash is being phased out for the convenience of banks and large companies, where the government agenda is that cash is preferred for anonymous transactions and criminal endeavours. So you can't buy a car with a suitcase of cash - you will be assumed to be criminal and will be required to provide a detailed explanation of the source of the cash.&nbsp; &nbsp; Use of well tested cancel tactics - <a data-mce-href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Animal_Liberation_Front_actions" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Animal_Liberation_Front_actions" target="_blank" rel="noopener">refined by animal rights protesters in the 70s </a>- means that any commercial media operators and advertisers can be intimidated and controlled by activist agendas.&nbsp; &nbsp; And now the scene has been set for the introduction of a central bank digital currency where money can simply be "switched off" &nbsp; The innocuously titled <a data-mce-href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/online-safety-act-new-criminal-offences-circular/online-safety-act-new-criminal-offences-circular" href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/online-safety-act-new-criminal-offences-circular/online-safety-act-new-criminal-offences-circular" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Online Safety Act </a>also introduces new criminal offences and creates Ofcom as the regulator for online safety, granting it new powers including those required to enforce the framework. It has only been in effect since February 2024 - there is no case law or interpretation - it will be made up and tested as it goes along. &nbsp;It is difficult to underestimate the dangers UK society is facing from extremists and activist zealots who are eager to engineer and create "extreme" interpretations to assist their various causes to disrupt any individuals or organisations they disagree with. Combined with GDPR legislation there is a labyrinth of law which will be interpreted, misinterpreted and abused. &nbsp; Various road traffic and <a data-mce-href="https://www.ashmanssolicitors.com/articles/10-common-driving-offences-and-their-punishments/" href="https://www.ashmanssolicitors.com/articles/10-common-driving-offences-and-their-punishments/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">motoring laws have been accumulating incrementally</a> for over a hundred years so that anyone who drives a car is almost certain to commit at least one offence every day - probably four or more within a mile! These will tend to be perceived as "low level" issues, like a broken side lamp or a partly obscured or improperly spaced number plate. Doing 33mph in a 30mph limit is not generally considered heinous by "normal" folks, but there are a growing number of zealot/ sanctimonious police forces who will prosecute. But there’s no police any more. It’s cameras and summary convictions. Which is a matter of opinion. Examples of driving without due care and attention include undertaking, tailgating, eating while driving and changing the radio while operating a vehicle. You do not have to cause an accident – or injure anyone – to be charged with careless driving. &nbsp; Most of the time the police will "take a view" but don't count on it! If you are "pulled up" and you have done nothing that you are aware of, and you take a combative line, you will probably find that you have a tyre with marginal tread depth or a misshaped letter on your number plate ... &nbsp; So then, with a month to go, you are being warned... these nebulous laws need to be repealed along with probably 70% of the legislation enacted in the past 50 years to clear out some of the crap. "...To reiterate, attempting to unite the parties of the right is a waste of time. Even if you could, it wouldn't amount to very much. It would be a fractious, philosophically incoherent, electorally insignificant coalition.&nbsp;These parties soak up a great deal of energy to no real effect. Multi-party politics only works in a PR system, but we don't have a PR system and nobody is going to give it to us. So we have to work with what we have.The recent Blackpool south by-election says it all. Labour won the seat with fewer votes than it got in 2019, while more than ten thousand conservative voters stayed at home. They are not taken with populist alternatives, so they have nobody to vote for.The reason all these alternative parties exist is that there is no centre right conservative party. They are a symptom. Those who seek unity should understand that its is not a good in itself, nor even a means to an end, but something which happens when there are defined objectives.<h3>That means we have to rebuild something out of the wreckage of the Tory party. There are means by which active cells of members can influence and shape it.</h3>Before we can do that, though, we need to define the philosophy, aims and strategy. The Reform Party never bothered to to this which is why it can't break through the inherent ceiling that goes with populism. It is also why it has no future. It will evaporate when Mr Tice gets bored and stops bankrolling it. There is no grassroots foundation. As an entity, it is private property.&nbsp;Rebuilding a conservative movement, though, is a long term project. Entryism is the method, but it's not enough. We flanking organisations to build nationwide networks to promote and popularise our ideology.&nbsp;To that end, party politics isn't the way. I believe groups like <a data-mce-href="https://x.com/NewCultureForum" href="https://x.com/NewCultureForum" target="_blank" rel="noopener">@NewCultureForum</a> , building regional bases of political engagement, through lectures, conferences and social events, can provide the necessary intellectual foundation of a movement, and also inspire and organise the necessary activism to take control of the party.&nbsp;Beforehand, though, we need a proper definition of conservatism. We must reject populism in favour of a values-based approach. It doesn't matter if we find those values are unpopular. Our job is to popularise them. As it happens, the core values of conservatism are innate to the British psyche. When properly defined and expressed, conservatism is popular.&nbsp;<h3>Defining the solution isn't all that difficult. We have a wealth of conservative philosophy we can employ. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. But we also have to educate those on our own side who haven't grasped the nature of the problem.&nbsp;</h3>The Tory party as currently constituted has no salvageable components. One-nation Tories are liberal internationalists who have more in common with the technocratic globalists in Starmer's party than they do with conservatives. But the Tory right is also a muddle of conflicting ideology. The ERG faction are free trade radicals, and the so-called "PopCons" have little to offer beyond reheated Thatcherism with a bit of immigration rhetoric thrown in. Stable-doorism.&nbsp;A functioning movement that can win is one whose policies are born from its intellectual foundation. For our needs, we must advance the ideology of National Conservatism, which is expressed in seven basic principles.&nbsp;1. National Independence. We wish to see a world of independent nations. Each nation capable of self-government should chart its own course in accordance with its own particular constitutional, linguistic, and religious inheritance. Each has a right to maintain its own borders and conduct policies that will benefit its own people.2. Internationalism not supranationalism. We support free cooperation and competition among nation-states, working together through trade treaties, defensive alliances, and other common projects that respect the independence of their members. But we oppose transferring the authority of elected governments to transnational or supranational bodies—a trend that pretends to high moral legitimacy even as it weakens representative government, sows public alienation and distrust, and strengthens the influence of autocratic regimes.3. National Government. The nation-state is instituted to establish a more perfect union among communities, parties, and regions of a given nation, to provide for their common defense and justice among them, and to secure the general welfare and liberty for this time and for future generations. We believe in a strong but limited state, subject to constitutional restraints and a division of powers. We recommend a drastic reduction in the scope of the administrative state and the policy-making judiciary that displace legislatures representing the full range of a nation’s interests and values.We recommend the localism principle, which prescribes a delegation of power to the respective states or subdivisions of the nation so as to allow greater variation, experimentation, and freedom. However, in those subdivisions in which law and justice have been manifestly corrupted, or in which lawlessness, immorality, and dissolution reign, national government must intervene energetically to restore order.We believe that government must be by consent, and that all decisions or policies resulting in fines, forfeitures or taxes are subject to a popular vote. We believe everyone has the right to freedom of speech provided they are not inciting violence or crime, or directly threatening another person.4. The Rule of Law. We believe in the rule of law. By this we mean that citizens and foreigners alike, and both the government and the people, must accept and abide by the laws of the nation without exception. The law must be enforced without fear or favour.5. Free Enterprise. We believe that an economy based on private property and free enterprise is best suited to promoting the prosperity of the nation and accords with traditions of liberty that are central to the British political tradition. We reject the socialist principle, which supposes that the economic activity of the nation can be conducted in accordance with a rational plan dictated by the state.But the free market cannot be absolute. Economic policy must serve the general welfare of the nation. Today, globalised markets allow hostile foreign powers to despoil Britain and other countries of their manufacturing capacity, weakening them economically and dividing them internally. At the same time, trans-national corporations showing little loyalty to any nation damage public life.A prudent national economic policy should promote free enterprise, but it must also mitigate threats to the national interest, aggressively pursue economic independence from hostile powers, nurture industries crucial for national defense, and restore and upgrade manufacturing capabilities critical to the public welfare. Crony capitalism, the selective promotion of corporate profit-making by organs of state power, should be energetically exposed and opposed.6. Family and Children. We believe the traditional family is the source of society’s virtues and deserves greater support from public policy. The traditional family, built around a lifelong bond between a man and a woman, and on a lifelong bond between parents and children, is the foundation of all other achievements of our civilization. The disintegration of the family, including a marked decline in marriage and childbirth, gravely threatens the wellbeing and sustainability of democratic nations. Economic and cultural conditions that foster stable family and congregational life and child-raising are priorities of the highest order.7. Immigration. Today’s penchant for uncontrolled and unassimilated immigration has become a source of weakness and instability, not strength and dynamism, threatening internal dissension and ultimately dissolution of the political community. We call for a long term moratorium on immigration and aggressive policies to promote assimilation. We demand that those with no right to be here, or no means to support themselves, are removed, and unassimilated immigrants are encouraged to leave. ___The root of this movement is essentially nationalist, but conservative in approach to government. I do not define this as ethno-nationalism, rather muscular civic nationalism. But the distinction is not all that important.&nbsp;The priority is rebuilding conservatism, with a view to restoring the nation. Policy is formed from the foundation, and policy must must be proportionate to the severity of the problems. A conservative movement will address itself to the most pressing concerns. The immediate problem is garbage immigration, and it is extremely severe. It must be stopped and reversed.I’ve repeatedly outlined what I think should happen regarding the invasion of dinghy migrants. There has to be deterrence. Nobody who tries it on should profit from it. Stepping into a dinghy should mean that no more than four days later, you’re in a detention facility on West Falkland. Countries who won’t take them back should expect to see penalties ranging from trade tariffs, taxes on remittances and flight bans. It almost goes without saying that we must quit the ECHR and the Refugee Convention.But the dinghy crisis is something of a distraction. We need a more comprehensive immigration policy because it’s out of control.This is where the Reform Party is again deficient. They say we must first freeze non-essential immigration. This implies that some immigration is essential. If industry does not already have the skills pool it needs (on the basis of recent levels of immigration), then it doesn't exist at all, and they'll have to start training one. We need to examine and resolve all the reasons why we seem incapable of training our own doctors and engineers.<h3>To that end, immigration policy is closely linked with education and industrial policy. Universities must no longer run as visa mills, and most should be reverted to polytechnics to address the real world skills gap.</h3>Our immigration policy must be bolder than that though. This is not just a matter of skills and managing numbers. There are direct threats to national security to consider. There are urgent concerns about future societal cohesion, and questions remain as to whether Britain can remain a viable, functioning democratic state when multiculturalism has eroded national unity.Immigration policy, consequently, must not only address the levels of immigration, but also take corrective action. Britain must be firm on what it will not tolerate.Over the last year or so we’re seen some dark portents for the future, with rival immigrant groups fighting each other in the streets over political and tribal disputes in distant lands - which are nothing whatsoever to do with us. This is London's future normal. This is what you get when you completely abandon any kind of selectivity in immigration policy. When you have a surplus of unemployable low IQ males, you get anarchy.Unless we put a stop to it now, we're going to end up building internment camps because the alternative is low grade civil war between ethnic minorities while the rest of us are spectators - and full riot gear is standard patrol uniform for British police.Meanwhile, it should be recalled that we have a database of tens of thousands of potential terrorists. This is intolerable.<h3>So what’s to be done?</h3>It is clear from the handling of asylum that the Home Office is not fit for purpose. It must be broken up. We need a department dedicated to removals.The first order of business should be to tackle illegal immigration. It should develop local branches to gather intelligence on everything from Turkish barbers to car washes, and any other place of business likely to employ illegals. Business owners found to be employing illegals knowingly should face bankruptcy and a prison sentence. This surveillance should also extend to police and environmental health officers who can detect overcrowded houses of multiple occupation.The are over a million illegal immigrants in the UK economy. Sufficient to keep a department of removals in full time operation.Recently we’ve seen attempts by NGOs and activists to prevent removals. Steps should be taken to ensure no NGO is in receipt of public funds, opportunities to appeal are limited, and activists who interfere with removals must be slapped with a charge for obstruction, resulting in a five year jail term.That alone, though, does not solve the problem. Britain is still left with the problem of unchecked garbage immigration - those who will never contribute to the economic and social life of the country. To that end, we must remove all benefits from immigrants and remove any entitlement to housing. No benefit forms may be printed or submitted in any language but English.We must then make a fund available for those unable to support themselves to return to their country of origin. Modest cash incentives may be offered. Considering their drain on the NHS, it is still a net saving even if it’s up to £7,000 a head.Removal of benefits may result in tent cities. Regular removal patrols will ensure migrants are swiftly deported.<h3>We must also take robust steps to expedite integration. There must be limits to freedom of religion. The philosophers who promoted the ideal of religious freedom did so with a view to ending sectarianism among Christians. They never envisaged having to incorporate stone age cultures and alien religions based on political and demographic conquest.</h3>To that end, we must ban the burka and the wearing of traditional ethnic clothing outside of a place of worship. We then disallow gender segregation in mosques. If Britain stands for gender equality then it must apply to all citizens. We will not stand for the endemic misogyny that goes with primitive tribal customs we’ve imported. Britain must be a hostile environment for the alien cultures who are at odds with our values. Mosques identified as preaching extreme Islam will be shuttered and demolished.Further, it is almost universally agreed that foreign criminals must be deported, but all immigrants must recognise their obligation to obey the law, and understand that criminal offences will also see their immediate families removed.An incoming government must set a target of reducing the population to more sustainable levels with the emphasis on social cohesion; removing at least three million in the first five years.Immigration criteria must then be tightened. We need a moratorium on immigration for a minimum of ten years, after which there will be extensive English fluency testing and skills validation. Immigration from culturally compatible countries will be expedited. Strict criteria will be applied to third world applicants. Success rates from the third world will be minimal.We must also go beyond the traditional oath of allegiance. We must establish a system of provisional citizenship along with a contract of responsibilities. A five year interview will review citizenship applicants. Those found not in education or employment, without a demonstrably legitimate income, shall be removed. Any evidence of tax arrears shall also result in deportation.On a final note, we need a degree of voting reform. Non-citizens shall be prohibited from voting. The postal vote shall be restricted. Measures shall be taken to correct the democratic deficit where there is evidence of ethnic bloc voting.<h3>If we build this movement, we will speak for the silent majority. The fringe parties will evaporate because there will be no need for them to exist. We will be unified. We will win.</h3>

Democracy should notionally represent the views of the majority - but for a long time UK government has been influenced and controlled by a cabal of noisy minorities and assorted fringe interest groups, PR consultants, social media influencers and lobbyists - apparently operating on behalf of commercial interests and foreign governments.Britain is being/ has been subverted via a process of social engineering involving the imposition of the view of the "Liberal Elite" mostly notably as interpreted by the BBC and its house journal, The Guardian Newspaper.&nbsp; This is a dangerous intellectual monoculture of opinion that questions, dismisses and demeans the traditional conservative values that represented the "silent majority" of the UK for most of the 20th century. Values that defined attitudes towards family, society and nation - and latterly became confused over the issues of gender identity. Basic common sense has been gradually replaced with Marxist ideology as the 1984 warnings of <a data-mce-href="https://youtu.be/Z1EA2ohrt5Q" href="https://youtu.be/Z1EA2ohrt5Q" title="Ideological Subversion Primer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yuri Bezmenov</a> have not been heeded. We have been gradually boiled in a pan of political malfeasance that began with Tony Blair's 1997 regime with its stealth attacks on the constitution and legal system, via the relentless politicisation of all public service - especially health, education, judiciary and police, and miscellaneous civil servants under effective socialist control, openly defying the will of the electorate during the Brexit fiasco. Normal people are no longer represented, and declare themselves to be politically homeless.In order to restore faith in politicians, their salaries should be increased significantly - but at the same time they and their families must be subject to strict conditions about how they are able to cash in on their influence while they hold office, and after they retire, resign or are fired. &nbsp; The cost of this will be minimal compared to inept governance awarding contracts or grants to the wrong pressure groups and lobbyist entities.Britain must reinstate a common contract with the public whereby all responsible subjects (we are a monarchy, remember) regardless of gender, race, faith, orientation, social or financial position are treated as equal. The same laws and the same treatment by all government agencies and services.The promotion of perverse minority interests by government agencies must also stop... no more police dancing in the street and no more acknowledgement of the race card. &nbsp;The protection under law will be the same for all, thereby negating the need for special consideration.All pressure groups will need to register and make the finances of their officers available to ensure they are not funded (even indirectly by foreign governments).There will have to be a change in the operation of the police, where currently only 5% are ever on the street. &nbsp;They must concentrate on street crime and machete wielding gangs, rather than supposed hate crime where people simply express opinions online. The "hurty-word" crime policing can initially fall on the shoulders of Internet companies - The<a data-mce-href="https://www.iwf.org.uk/" href="https://www.iwf.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Internet Watch Foundation </a>was an early initiative from within the online industry that has been doing a good job - despite being starved of resources as long as politicians couldn't see any votes in the idea.The UK defence services sector will need to be completely rethought. &nbsp; It is simply not good enough that a trident missile test that saw the missile flop into the sea 50m from the submarine was classed a success...appalling.&nbsp; It is ridiculous that a committee headed by a general designed the aircraft carriers, <a data-mce-href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/09/22/britains-jet-less-aircraft-carriers-national-embarrasment/" href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/09/22/britains-jet-less-aircraft-carriers-national-embarrasment/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">which are apparently too short by 10m or so with no catapult</a> - and that forced the purchase of an f35b variant with significantly more expensive life cycle. The exclusion of nuclear power means extra support vessels and reduced operational viability. So maybe convert it to a cruise liner and start again. Or wait for a Palestinian terrorist with a £500 drone to sink them and collect on the insurance?The RAF is also saddled with the f35b, but a navy officer decided what was good for them. The PR machine needs to learn what the armed forces are supposed to do; instead of photos of commando generals with their head on one side looking cuddly - the public needs to be reassured that their armed forces will rip out the throat of the enemy and drink his/her warm blood. &nbsp;The same goes for the air force which has become a champion of hiring minorities rather than the best candidates for the job. &nbsp;The navy is run like a holiday club, with battle groups <a data-mce-href="https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-and-latest-activity/news/2021/august/25/210825-pacific-exercises-for-carrier-strike-group" href="https://www.royalnavy.mod.uk/news-and-latest-activity/news/2021/august/25/210825-pacific-exercises-for-carrier-strike-group" target="_blank" rel="noopener">providing carrier operations training for the Japanese</a>,&nbsp; Let's hope all pronouns were correctly observed and no feeling were hurt.&nbsp;

Why the flurry of activity at wote.uk/blog?&nbsp;</h2>Several reasons... mostly the concentration of mind that arises from a glimpse of the noose dangling on the scaffold as July 4th approaches, and the fear that the ghastly misfit wannabe MPs - now endlessly tormenting and disappointing us on TV and social media - will get into government without being properly under the ongoing control of the Will Of The Electorate.<h3>It's up to us (and the heroically prolific political savant and spokesman for responsible moderate conservatives everywhere, Pete North) to keep on banging out the messages and themes that will come together in a manifesto for the Silenced Majority, soon enough.&nbsp;</h3>The principle of WOTE enables us to be ever so slightly demob-happy as we abdicate large tranches of granular responsibility for the mechanics of government to our fabulously well-trained and resourced civil and public servants. A lot of those details can now be tracked and reported using AI techniques. Leaving WOTE Federation MPs to make certain that the Whitehall warriors all earn their fabulous salaries and gongs and pensions - and have &nbsp;a rewarding time doing it whilst achieving the support and approbation of all for doing a good job that is continually monitored and confirmed by our rolling referenda sampling. Counter intuitively (for some), handing off the irrelevance, minutiae and distraction of Westminster and Quangoland means we can properly micromanage manage the parts of government that really need to be kept under the microscope - delivering the Will of the Electorate - and keeping it on the rails, and the potholes repaired at last.&nbsp;
